About Nostos Wellbeing

"Nostos is a Greek word associated with homecoming, return, and the idea of finding one's way back to oneself  - something that feels deeply connected to the therapeutic process."

I'm Marios Theocharopoulos, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I was born and raised in Epirus, Greece, where mountains meet the sea, and have made Edinburgh my home for many years. My experience of living between cultures has also shaped the way I think about identity, belonging, and change.

I offer online and face-to-face therapy, with the aim of creating a safe, supportive and thoughtful space for meaningful change.
